The Extracta® Pathogen DNA and RNA Kit (MPTA) is a high-performance solution designed for the extraction and purification of nucleic acids from a wide range of pathogens. Designed to offer diagnostic and research flexibility, the kit is compatible with various biological matrices, ranging from body fluids and swabs to diverse tissues, ensuring the delivery of purified genetic material for demanding laboratory applications.
Based on magnetic bead technology and the principle of solid-phase reversible immobilization (SPRI), the kit enables the selective isolation of DNA and RNA with speed and high reproducibility. With an automated protocol of just 30 minutes (which may vary depending on the equipment), the system efficiently removes inhibitors, resulting in high-purity samples ready for PCR, qPCR, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and other molecular biology analyses.
