The Extracta® MDx Pathogen DNA and RNA Kit (MPTA MDx) is a versatile and robust solution designed for the extraction and purification of nucleic acids from a wide range of complex biological matrices. Developed to meet the demands of molecular diagnostics, the kit enables the isolation of genetic material from viruses, bacteria, fungi, feces, and tissues, ensuring high integration with automated laboratory workflows and maximum analytical sensitivity.
Based on magnetic bead technology and the principle of solid-phase reversible immobilization (SPRI), the kit facilitates the effective removal of PCR inhibitors present in challenging samples. With rapid protocols ranging from 30 to 45 minutes (which may vary depending on the equipment), it delivers high-quality purified samples ready for qPCR, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and other molecular biology analyses.
