The Extracta® Kit – Dried Blood DNA (MDBD) was developed for the automated extraction and purification of DNA from dried blood using various clinical and laboratory matrices, promoting high integration with laboratory workflows, process standardization, and significant productivity gains.
Based on magnetic bead technology and the principle of solid-phase reversible immobilization (SPRI), the kit enables the selective isolation of DNA from dried blood with high yield and excellent reproducibility. With a 40-minute protocol (which may vary depending on the equipment), it ensures pure, inhibitor-free samples ready for applications such as PCR, qPCR, genotyping, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and other molecular biology analyses.
