The Extracta® Kit – Fungal DNA and RNA (MFXA) was developed for the automated extraction and purification of fungal DNA and RNA from various clinical and laboratory matrices, promoting high integration with laboratory workflows, standardization of processes, and significant productivity gains.
Based on magnetic microparticle (magnetic bead) technology and the principle of reversible solid-phase immobilization (SPRI), the kit enables the selective isolation of fungal DNA and RNA with speed, high yield, and excellent reproducibility. With a 40-minute protocol (which may vary depending on the equipment), it guarantees pure, inhibitor-free samples that are ready for applications such as PCR, qPCR, genotyping, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and other molecular biology analyses.
