The Amplio MasterMix RT-qPCR 2x MDx UltraFast was developed for RT-qPCR applications based on fluorescent probes, offering high sensitivity, specificity, and speed for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) molecular assays.
Designed for the simultaneous detection of up to five RNA or DNA targets in one-step reactions, the reagent enables accelerated protocols with reduced amplification times in fast and ultrafast modes, delivering results in as little as 60 minutes.
Its 2X formulation combines all necessary components in a single tube, including genetically modified M-MLV reverse transcriptase, thermolabile antibody-inhibited hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, RNase inhibitor, dNTPs, reaction buffer, Mg²⁺, and stabilizers. The integrated UDG/UNG system with dUTP prevents contamination by amplicons, increasing the reliability of results.
The reverse transcriptase exhibits greater thermostability and reduced RNase H activity, ensuring efficient cDNA synthesis. The kit includes ROX dye supplied separately, allowing for adjustment based on instrument compatibility.
